The Terminal Tower in Cleveland, Ohio set against a blazing sky of orange. Or is it a pink sky? Or is it salmon? Light brings this piece to life as it plays and dances with the colors of a dramatic sky. There’s a reason “Elephant Gun” is one of my most popular pieces, see for yourself. Prints are limited to 10 per size/material, once they’re sold, the piece is retired… forever.

You may be asking yourself, “what kind of name is Elephant Gun”? I’m so glad you asked. I remember the day I discovered this scene and became awestruck how the bridge crowned the terminal tower with industrial royalty. Walking along the road, camera in hand, and headphones in ears playing a beautiful song with soaring trumpets, Elephant Gun, by Beirut.

Looking towards Downtown Cleveland and Tower City, the Terminal Tower soared like the trumpets in the song. I raised the camera to my eye, held it steady, focused in where the Terminal Tower touched the sky. Finger hovering over the shutter, like a hunter’s over the trigger… a crisp, click-clack as I pressed down on the button. I quickly turned to the cameras display in anticipation of what I captured. One shot. I took the big king down.

NOTE: Paper prints 24x36 or larger not available in metallic paper

  • Let’s Get Metal with Metal Art Prints

Creating art that POPS is my purpose, my MO, the ultimate goal. While the work I produce looks stunning on photo paper, the absolute best way to experience my art is when it's printed on a slab of metal… aluminum to be precise. The shimmer, the sheen, and the durability just cannot be beat. There are so many benefits to metal prints, but my favorite (from a utilitarian standpoint) is that you never have to worry about the expense and frustration that comes with custom framing.

Your metal prints come ready to hang with a built-in mount. And don’t be fooled by the material, these things are ultra-light, so you never have to deal with the anxiety of coming home to a fresh hole in your drywall and shattered glass on the floor!

So, what goes into a metal print?

Metal prints represent a new art medium for preserving photos and art by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, the artwork takes on an almost magical luminescence. The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily with ammonia-free glass cleaner. For the best viewing experience metal prints should not be displayed in direct sunlight.

  • Get that Paper… Paper Prints

Perhaps you have the perfect frame in mind for a piece of my art and a metal print just won’t cut it… let’s go old-school with modern technology and get you a stunning photo-paper print. Old School in the Newest Way

Metallic paper uses a patented combination of film and laminate layers resulting in a striking metallic shine. Its unique pearlescent surface, ultra-bright backgrounds, and smooth photo finish draw you into the brilliant world of color I created as if you were looking through a window. Oh, and it will last a lifetime or two (or more)… standard Archival Value of 100 years in home display; 200 years in dark storage.

  • LISTEN ON SPOTIFY

If I was young, I'd flee this town

    I'd bury my dreams underground

As did I, we drink to die, we drink tonight

    Far from home, elephant gun

Let's take them down one by one

We'll lay it down, it's not been found, it's not around

Let the seasons begin, it rolls right on

Let the seasons begin, take the big king down

Let the seasons begin, it rolls right on

Let the seasons begin, take the big king down

And it rips through the silence of our camp at night

And it rips through the night

And it rips through the silence of our camp at night

And it rips through the silence, all that is left is all that I hide

Now, let’s add some color to your walls and make everyday a beautiful experience. I can’t wait for you to see what you’ve been missing.

…and yet, there is a deeper lesson to be learned here. Our senses, though magnificent in their own right, can only show us a limited view of reality. We are bound by the visible spectrum of light, the range of audible sound frequencies, and the physical limitations of our bodies. But when we embrace reality as it is, without imposing our own labels, stories and expectations, we open ourselves up to a world of wonder and possibility.
