Commissions

A commissioned piece of art is a work that is specially requested by an individual or organization. The artist is tasked with creating a unique piece based on the client's specifications, which can include subject matter, size, style, and any other preferences outlined in the commission agreement. The artist is compensated for their time and materials, and the resulting artwork belongs to the client upon completion. Commissioned art allows for a customized creation that reflects the tastes and preferences of the patron.

As an artist, having someone commission you (trust you) to create something original, special, and personally valuable on a deep level, is the highest honor. Truly. I love it. I really think you will too.

What to expect

Commissions begin with a 60-90 minute conversation about your aesthetic tastes, ideal colors to include/avoid, landmarks, landscapes, and favorite art/artists.

When possible, I will meet you in person to see the space you have in mind and show you examples of pieces and materials.

The final product is a stunning visual of imagintion brought to life.

Materials can range from any of the standard available options previously to bold concepts referenced in custom work.

Size of commissions are limited to your space and can be produced to exact size requirements.

Commissions are invoiced at project commencement. Standard terms are 50% up front and remaining balance prior to digital reveal.

Turnaround time for commissions vary on complexity of the project, but typically take 30-45 days to create.

Pricing

Commissions start at $2,000. Factors that determine final price are based on project complexity, any travel required on my part, scouting and photographing relevant elements, size and material of final piece.

If you found a piece that you love and want to own one but you have special requirements when it comes to dimensions and material, a custom order is an option. Each custom order is quoted out individually and invoiced directly to you. There are no limitations to what is possible, I love exploring new ways to display the art I’ve created. Whether you have an interest in larger sizes- like 60x40+, prefer art that is also functional- acoustic panels, or want to explore something truly unique. I work with multiple fabricators in the Cleveland area that have a wide range of capabilities to produce something truly unique for you.

Custom Orders

Custom orders typically require a phone call to discuss options and availability. If you can provide images of the space you have in mind, please email them to me as they can help me guide you. In some cases, I will meet you in person to see the space and show you examples of pieces and materials.

Turnaround time is about 14 days following your order.

Custom orders are invoiced prior to production.

  • Metal / Aluminum

Ready to hang, no frame needed.

ChromaLux metal prints represent a new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the artwork is infused into the surface and not on it, my art takes on an almost magical luminescence. The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily with a dry micro-fiber cloth, water or ammonia-free glass cleaner - just avoid direct sunlight as metal with gloss finish can produce a strong glare.

  • Acoustic Panels

Ready to hang, no frame needed.

Acoustic panels reduce reflected sound and dampen echo/reverberation. They are ideal for home theatres, listening rooms, conference rooms and large spaces with hard surfaces. Let’s get creative, ask about 3D Functional Art.

Once you experience the calming visceral effects provided by these panels, you’ll want more.

  • Acrylic

Ready to hang, no frame needed.

The ultra-smooth high gloss surface features a warmer base tone and extra rich colors. The depth and dimensional quality of acrylic is one that can’t be described, and begs to be seen firsthand to be believed. Acrylic creates a heightened sense of color realism that the viewer feels they can jump into.

  • Canvas

Ready to hang, no frame needed.

Canvas Gallery Wraps are made with a print on Professional Photo Paper bonded onto museum quality canvas, and wrapped around a 1.5" or 2.5" artist's stretcher frame.

Canvas prints come ready to hang, no frame required, but can also be custom framed to fit your space.
